I got an unfortunate letter in the mail today. The IRS claims that I owe them about $3,500. They claim that a tax deduction I took back in 2004 was illegitimate. Says the brilliant woman who handles my taxes: baloney! Long story short, I need to fax in some paperwork- no big deal. However, this unfortunate incident reminded me how much I hate the IRS, and prompted me to share the following with you:
