<< Regarding Abortion More Thoughts on Abortion >>
A whacko Christian Fundamentalist view
“Life, Liberty and Property” is the catechism or mantra which has been espoused since the Enlightenment era. It is no coincidence or surprise that Life comes first in this tripartite. The purpose of an Abortion is to preclude the birth of a human being not a Zygote, collection of cells, fetus or some other less salient synonym for a person. If it weren’t about the removal of a human being from the womb of another there would be no debate. It would be a purely cosmetic issue along the lines of plastic surgery.
The whole point of removing unwanted weeds from a nice healthy lawn is to prevent those weeds from growing stronger and taller. There reaches a point where those weeds get to be far harder to remove and where they become much more noticeable.
Let us never forget that the purpose of Abortion is to get rid of unwanted human beings or more to the point innocent children. The child inside the mother’s womb is presumed innocent before the law just like a man holding a butcher’s knife upon being arrested. There is no difference under our system except for the fact that the child isn’t so fortunate enough to have the same butcher’s knife.
Instead the Abortionist under the auspices of the mother performs an extra-judicial execution without due process in most cases. The child doesn’t even get a guardian or trustee let alone a defense attorney. Haebus Corpus is thrown out the window, most individuals care more about maintaining that unalienable right for suspected Terrorists than their own kids. I motion that ALL should enjoy Haebus Corpus regardless of their status.
Rape, poverty, disease and many other evils are not necessarily punishable by death in most so called civilized countries. A child should NOT have to suffer death because the father was a rapist, the mother a victim or an impoverished drug addict or was just sleeping around. In the event of pure choice or preference why should a father put pressure on a mother to Abort a child? Why should a mother execute her lover’s baby without his input? This isn’t a woman’s issue, it’s a human rights matter.
Those that damn the death penalty but salute the execution of babies are cruel. As are those which rout for blood among the already born but weep over Abortion are equally as sick. I liken the Life issue to the Tax issue. You’re either for death and taxes or you’re for freedom. Even a 1.00% income tax for only those making over $10,000,000.00 per year would be problematic and illogical. It’s the same kind of rationalization for death; Abortion is bad except in cases of rape. Taxes are either good or bad. Abortion is either good or bad.
It’s far too easy to relish over nuances and semantics. The justification industry is one that should leave life and taxes alone. Since ultimately they are very interconnected issues. If you don’t pay your taxes and wind up holed up in New Hampshire you could lose your life. If you’re Aborted/Murdered at least then you’ll never have to face taxes. Maybe, that’s the only benefit to terminating your sweet innocent kid.
With all of that said, I urge all readers to count the Bible Verses, to number the references to Jesus Christ and to make unprincipled value judgments. At least be consistent in your analysis and take a stand. There is no problem from this author to those that support Abortion, Capital Punishment and Taxation so long as it’s overtly declared.
Lastly, Abortion provides for a clear justification against the apparent need for government. After all, if governments engage in offensive wars, institute capital punishment and permit Abortion then their entire existence comes into question. Similarly, governments that take people’s property and liberty lose their mandate. At the end of the day, only we the free born can defend ourselves and to aid the unborn. May personal independence and sovereignty be the 21st Century’s mantra.

A wonderful, clear and well written retort to my own essay.
