He Can’t Be This Stupid
I don’t buy it.
No one could be this stupid, could they?
No one thought to ask this before, even after three full years of war?
I smell a rat.
I am growing more and more suspicious that Bush has been playing the fool in order to distract us from far more sinister happenings.
Some good examples
Liechtenstein - no external debt
Hong Kong, Estonia & Chile all non-petroleum exporting countries with Debt-to-GDP ratios under 4.00%. The United States’s Debt-to-GDP ratio is 64.70%, not bad compared with 176.20% for Japan or 200+% for Lebanon.
Tiny Hong Kong & Singapore have over $130Billion worth of foreign reserves. Nearly twice as we in the […]
Beating our enemies
Yes, we can defeat our enemies without firing a single shot. Not only can we beat our enemies senseless but we can profit enormously. But wait there is more…. without sacrificing a single American life! How? Very simple, it’s called trade or better yet free trade. No, not managed trade or the formation of obscure […]
Compassionate Conservativism
…and now a fatality http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D8RVIP500&show_article=1
1. Did she really commit suicide?
2. Why wasn’t she being watched to begin with? There is more surveillance in a High School Girl’s bathroom or a McDonald’s
3. Again, if she was crazy & irrational, why wouldn’t she be “doubly” watched?
Shoot, I’m freaked out just stepping foot in an airport. Maybe […]
Why is the Middle-Class Doomed?
Let us assume you are just a normal regular Joe, working a normal regular job, in order to pay for your normal regular house. You, dear friend, shall be screwed hardest of all.
Why? Simple: historically, it has been unlikely for middle-class income to rise proportionately with inflation. For example, as the cost of everything […]
Debtor Nation
It is often said that “America is broke”; that we have no money left to do the things that we would like to do. This is simply not true. Truth be told, America is currently $8.9 TRILLION in debt. Being broke would be a great improvement to our current state of affairs.
If you will […]
Rush Limbaugh v. The Troops
I’m probably baiting Lysander with this, but I found this editorial by the “Army of Dude” very insightful:
When I was a kid I watched Rush with my dad every morning when he was still on TV and always found him pretty funny and clever. Over the years I didn’t have a very concrete opinion about […]
The Nuremburg Defense Wins Again!
From The Miami Herald a quick update to this post:
Spc. Jorge G. Sandoval, 22, was acquitted Friday of murder charges in the April and May deaths of two unidentified men. The five-man, two-woman panel decided he was guilty of a lesser charges of placing detonation wire on one of the bodies to make it […]
Freedom of Speech?
Here is a quick discussion of the First Amendment by Penn Jilette. Mr. Jilette is an esteemed fellow of the CATO Institute; a Libertarian think tank.
Getting Worse…
From KTVU:
OAKLAND, Calif. — More than three dozen people marched on Oakland City Hall Monday calling for the prosecution of a police officer who killed a man he was questioning as a murder suspect.
The parents of 20-year-old Gary King Junior were among protesters claiming that Oakland police Sergeant Pat Gonzales used excessive force when he […]
