Why are blogs superior to traditional print media? Because we are free to communicate whatever we wish, without being subjected to unconstitutional regulations.
I’m not sure I agree with this particular editorial, mind you, but that’s not my point.
Traditional media is on life support, and for some reason, is grasping at its own plug in a bizarre attempt to pull it. Good riddance.

I feel “shell shocked” by the past two weeks of news. The USD/CAD parity hurts us both. As you are fond of saying, Canada’s entire economy is based on selling sticks and dirt to Americans.

I was foolish enough to venture onto CNN.com the other day, hoping to see the American take on the dollar being at par with the C$. They only talked about how low the dollar was in regard to the Euro, and kinda ignored America’s largest trading partner, and what impact it will have on the American economy.
They also talked about how people will eat what they see most. Under that “top story” was how “Twinkies are a marvel of food engineering”.
