War with Iran update
The new pit bull in town is French President Sarkozy a/k/a the French Rudy. Prior to his retirement, Tony “Bliar” Blair was President Bush’s little lapdog. It appears that the Sarko regime is testing the waters for Washington D.C with Iran War comments. Rumors and the reality that the British are slowly leaving Iraq are disheartening for an already weak “Coalition of the Willing.”
Why on Earth would the folks that brought us Vietnam and lost Algeria be at it again? Simple. One word: B A N K R U P T C Y. Yes, the Prime Minister of France has uttered the word B A N K R U P T C Y. War is good for the health of the State. We all know that and it’s a great excuse to justify for poor fiscal discipline.
Prudence tells us to look at these types of cause and effects, to indulgence in examining possible correlations. Follow the money is one of the mantras. Can the Euro really remain so high with a “Bankrupt” France? It is highly unlikely. Are these comments designed to engineer a weaker Euro to appease Washington D.C? If factual, will a desperate France and Europe fold into alignment for a possible confrontation with the Islamic Republic? Time will only tell.
