President Romney
Roughly one year from today, Americans will be going to the polls to voice their preference for President of the United States. Based upon that outcome the partisan Electors from each of the respective States will actually Elect the President.
The prediction business is a very entertaining endeavor. While it is my preference and hope that Ron Paul will become our next President. My prediction as it stands now is that Mitt Romney will be elected the next United States President. Rudy will be our Vice-President. They will defeat Hillary Clinton/Bill Richardson by 50-49% in the popular vote.
My reasons are as follows:
1. Hillary’s negative numbers are too high
2. Hillary is a Clinton
3. Hillary is a Woman
4. Richardson will not deliver more of the Hispanic vote and even if he does, it won’t help Hillary take States that don’t have a large Hispanic presence yet, it will only help her go from 60% to say 70% in a place like New Mexico, big deal, it’s the same number of Electors whether you win 50.01% or 99.99%.
5. Romney will make a JFK like speech about Mormonism, this will appeal to the religious right and soothe their fears sorta.
6. Romney can steal Hillary’s thunder about health care. Why? He created a quasi-socialist program in Massachusetts. Right, he actually DID something.
7. Romney has tons of his own money, he’s probably far wealthier than Clinton
8. If Romney can carry Massachusetts and put it into play, the Democrats are screwed
9. Which brings us to Rudy, not only will he keep the lunatic NeoCons happy, but if he can deliver New York too, the Democrats are doubly screwed
10. Southerners don’t like those two northern boys much, but they sure hate Hillary. Many may stay home, but oh well.
11. Romney looks more Presidential
12. Romney was a Governor, not a Senator or Mayor. Granted, Richardson was a Governor too, but he won’t be the Presidential Nominee, he’ll be the Vice-Presidential Nominee.
13. Rudy will not only deliver New York and deal a serious blow to Hillary, but he’ll tip the balance in favor of Romney in the State of Florida. Florida’s New York population will be split between Hillary & Rudy. Florida will once again be in play big time.
