<< The Federal Reserve v. Working Americans Land of the Free >>
President Romney & France
Mitt unlike McCain served in the wine fields of France instead of the rice patties of Vietnam.
Naturally, the French rejected the Mormon mission. It is culturally incompatible. The French are known for their heavy intake of caffeine, nicotine and wine, all of which are persona non grata according to the followers of Joseph Smith. The attitude toward organized religion is also quite hostile. Especially, given that the French authorities have routinely labeled the Latter Day Saints & Jehovah’s Witnesses as “cults.”
Would the French benefit from more religion? Absolutely. Even Mormonism. But one has to smirk about sending missionaries to places like France or Great Britain. Such countries although very de-Christianized now, once sent thousands of missionaries to nearly every continent on Earth. The real threat to Europe is radical Islam not the Salt Lake City Mafia. This time around the French version of Rudy, probably would agree. As they say, Mon Dieu!
Hungry for more?
