Ron Paul Won JEFFERSON County, Iowa
Go figure Paul won “Jefferson” County. Visit the Iowa GOP’s website and at the lower right hand side of the map you’ll find a lone cube labeled “RP 08.”. Paul beat Huckabee 298 to 263. The county as a whole has 16,181 people in it. The city of Fairfield is located in Ron Paul County.
In the entire state Paul received 11,817 votes he was within striking distance of both McCain & Thompson. Both McCain & Thompson have no natural base in New Hampshire. Paul has way more money than either of those two. We know he crushed Rudy. At roughly 10.00%, he is on the radar. Finally, someone that actually named their kid after Ayn Rand shows up in an election past the 1% mark. This is a major victory. Let’s not get defeatist. This is not the time to yield.
