Reagarding Vote Fraud; the Sutton Syndrome
Old news: The New Hampshire Primary results contained several discrepancies. Before we lose our cool, let us evaluate the facts:
Facts:
-
Jennifer Call, town clerk for Sutton, NH, has verified that 31 votes for Ron Paul went unreported on primary night.
-
Pollsters expected Obama to beat Clinton by >10%, instead he lost by a narrow margin, winning the same number of delegates.
-
There was a discrepancy in the votes tallied by hand versus those tallied by electronic voting machine (Diebold)
Speculation/Theory:
-
Evil agents of the New World Order are attempting to highjack the election, just as was done in ‘00 and ‘04
-
Anyone making the above claim is a paranoid conspiracy theorist, a sore loser, or a combination thereof.
-
The Sutton votes represent an honest mistake.
-
I am very pleased to see such an organized and speedy response to these allegations, from all sides. The Sutton votes were resolved in a matter of hours, and confirmed via primary sources.
-
I feel confident that any future discrepancies will be identified and scrutinized, thus intimidating anyone who might plot to subvert the democratic process. Any future fraud, and any fraud conducted in Iowa and New Hampshire will be revealed in due time.
-
The discrepancy between hand-count vote and electronic machine vote falls withing a reasonable statistical margin of error; the results might very well be perfectly authentic.
-
Until we have evidence of premeditation or malicious intent, we sound foolish making such claims. Campaigns are a game of image, and no matter how righteous our intent, we must never forget that most voters are swayed by superficial things.
-
For now, Ron Paul supporters must keep their eyes on the prize; focus on the upcoming primaries. We still have time to grab a few more swing voters- this is more important than proving fraud right now.
-
Continue to report any discrepancies as soon as they are discovered, however, until we have evidence to the contrary, assume any discrepancy to be the result of honest error, or misunderstanding. The proper phrasing for this phenomenon is “potential discrepancy”, not “OMG NWO iz in teh Interwebz h@cking teh election!”.
-
Stop fretting over 5th place. We have 10% of the vote. That is a monumental achievment, and it should inspire you, not deter you. A few short months ago we were all “lone gunman” in this battle; today, we are a force to be reckoned with.
My opinion:
Onward to Michigan!
Hungry for more?
