<< What does Hillary Clinton dream about? Support the Troops; Ignore Bill O’Reilly >>
Prepare for Phase II
From the desk of Ron Paul:
(emphasis mine)
Let me tell you my thoughts. With Romney gone, the chances of a brokered convention are nearly zero. But that does not affect my determination to fight on, in every caucus and primary remaining, and at the convention for our ideas, with just as many delegates as I can get. But with so many primaries and caucuses now over, we do not now need so big a national campaign staff, and so I am making it leaner and tighter. Of course, I am committed to fighting for our ideas within the Republican party, so there will be no third party run. I do not denigrate third parties — just the opposite, and I have long worked to remove the ballot-access restrictions on them. But I am a Republican, and I will remain a Republican.
Let us review:
-
Ron Paul has not dropped out: he will remain all the way to the convention.
-
Not even Ron Paul thinks that Ron Paul is going to win this.
-
There will be no third-party run.
If you have not yet voted for Dr. Paul in your state primary, please do not allow these facts to deter you. If nothing else, these elections are invaluable for showing us where our support is. Your vote matters, if only to us, your fellow Ron Paul supporters.
We must now begin the implementation of Phase II of the revolution. The greatest challenge, and biggest question we now face is this:
Can our herd of “angry cats” stay unified after our sheppard has returned home to Texas?
I believe we can. I hope that we will.
As Ron Paul himself has said on many occasions: we are the heart of this revolution, not him. Ron Paul may be an old man now, but I am young, relatively healthy, and have many years of solid fighting left in me.
Rest assured: this is the beginning, not the end.
Yours in Liberty,

I agree, it is hardly over. Nor was this inspired, written or paid for by Barack Obama. Paul has done well to educate a new generation. Now it is up to us to do something with the lesson in liberty.
