Granted, people are increasingly making poorer choices regarding credit, but more regulation will hinder those who would make good credit choices. I think it is wrong to hurt the responsible for the benefit of the irresponsible. It seems that regulation to protect irresponsible borrowers would further encourage irresponsible borrowing.
