<< A Twelve Step Program Why I Love Mike Huckabee >>
Oh, man! Ralph is at it again.
This morning, on Meet the Press, Ralph Nader officially announced that he is once again running for president. Of course, I respect anyone’s right to run for elected office; but come on! Let’s not forget Ralph Nader’s effects on the 2000 election. Arguably, he deprived us of one of the most environmentally progressive presidential candidates in history (Al Gore). Our prize? Eight years of Yosemite Sam as president shouting and whooping and firing in all directions. In an election cycle where I’d love to see Barack Obama become president (and at least have an honest chance to fuck it all up), Ralph Nader could be a spoiler.
Dude, get back in your Prius and go home! Please!
Candidate’s Reactions to Ralph Nader’s Announcement
Hungry for more?

Nader is so obviously a GOP plant. Ralph knows Republicans will pump his campaign with money. At heart Nader is a budding capitalist.
The “real” Meet the Press Q&A:
Russert: Why did you choose to run for President at such a pivotal point in time? Keep in mind Ohio & Texas on March 4th.
Nader: Because it’s where the big bucks are!
Back to reality for a moment, Nader is also hoping to soak up some of the youth vote the Ron Paul and Barack Obama campaigns have harvested.
Even more reality, I personally doubt he’ll make it on the ballot in all 50 states and I doubt he’ll score beyond 1.00%.
Nader is just looking for a parting salvo before he bites the political dust.
